Peter J. Bruno, Chairman, retired from Ethicon, Inc. after 41 years with Manufacturing and Human Resources. He has been a Credit Union member since 1954 and has served on the Board of Directors since 1987. Prior to his retirement, Peter served as company liaison to the Credit Union. He is a member of the National Association of Credit Union Chairmen (NACUC) and was elected to their Board of Directors in 1999. Peter serves as trustee on the Board of Seaside Park, NJ Taxpayers Association. He is a US Army veteran and lives with his wife Edith in Bridgewater, NJ. They have four children and nine grandchildren.
Robert Conley was first appointed to the Credit Union Board of Directors in June 1988. He served as Board Chairman from 1990-1992 and is currently Vice-Chairman. Bob is an associate of Hill Environmental Group, Inc., an environmental and engineering consulting firm. Prior to leaving J&J, he worked at Ortho Pharmaceutical, Ethicon and Johnson & Johnson Products in various manufacturing and engineering positions. A graduate of the University of Maine, he received his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He resides in Pennington, NJ with his wife, Maureen. They have four children.
Frank Culley retired as Vice President of Human Resources for Ethicon, Inc. in 1995. A member of Ethicon's Board of Directors since 1974, Frank was an Ethicon associate for 29 years. Since retiring, Frank has served as a consultant in the Human Resources field. Frank received his Bachelor's from Saint Peter's College and earned his MBA from Seton Hall University. Frank and wife Kathleen live in Manasquan, NJ. The Culleys have three children, Brian, Lynn and Kevin and nine grandchildren.
Lois Janovsky has been a member of Financial Resources since 1954. She worked in payroll and finance for Devro, then transferred to Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems as a Rebate Analyst. She is presently employed as an Assistant to the Principal of a small private Catholic school in Peapack, NJ. Lois attended Somerset County College where she studied finance. Residing in Bridgewater, NJ, Lois has four children and six grandchildren.
Dolores Pompeo is retired from Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, where she was employed as a Project Manager since 1972. Dolores is a Rutgers University graduate with a BA in Mathematics and lives in Readington, NJ with her husband Angelo and their sons John and James.
Thomas Smith graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Prior to his recent retirement from duties as National Director of Payroll for Verizon Wireless, Tom spent thirteen years in various Johnson & Johnson Finance Department assignments including positions at the Baby Products Company, Ortho Diagnostics, J&J Shared Services and the Network and Computing Services organization. He served on the Credit Union's Supervisory Committee for six years prior to joining the Board of Directors in 1999. Tom lives in Middlesex, NJ with his wife Elaine and daughter Rebecca.
Robert J. VanCaneghan, since 2000, had served as Board member of Financial Resources CUSO, LLC, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Credit Union offering investment and insurance services. Bob retired after 25 years of serving as an equity and options trader for A.G. Becker and Co. and Miceli-Van Caneghan and Co. as partner in one of the largest specialist market makers on the floor of the American Stock Exchange, during which time he served as Member of the stock exchange's Board of Governors. Bob received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Wagner College, an MBA degree in Finance from New York University, and a Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1979. Bob serves as a Board Member of the Staten Island March of Dimes and Energy Exploration Technologies in Calgary, Canada, and is a member of the Cardinal's Committee of the Diocese of New York. He resides in Staten Island, NY.
Richard A. Weiss, prior to being appointed as Director to fill the vacancy created by Emily Kuzmak’s retirement on the Board, had served on the Supervisory Committee as both a member and most recently Committee Chairman. Richie is currently employed with Nitta Casings Inc. (formerly a division of JNJ) and has over 25 years of human resources and manufacturing experience. He has an undergraduate and graduate degree from Rider University. Richie resides in Skillman, NJ with his wife. They have three children.
Ron Winkels has served on the Credit Union Board since 1989. He has been a Johnson & Johnson employee and member of Financial Resources since 1968. Previously the Supervisor of Ethicon Commercial Duplicating Services, Ron is now retired. He attended Arkansas College and lives in Somerville, NJ.
Emily Kuzmak, Director Emeritus, has been a Credit Union member since 1956 and was a volunteer for the Credit Union for more than 30 years, serving in various director positions until retiring from the Board on January 1, 2007. Emily retired in 1985 after 30 years with Ethicon, Inc. Employee Health and Safety Department as administrator of health and safety services. She is a graduate of New York University with a BS in education.
