About the Financial Resources FCU Foundation
Financial Resources FCU Foundation organizes charitable events in support of charities and medical institutions that provide services to children. Over the past 20 years, the Credit Union and Foundation have raised over $450,000. The Financial Resources FCU Foundation, Inc., is a tax-exempt charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Hugs for Brady Foundation is dedicated to helping children with childhood cancers. Their moral compass is directed to support children with cancer in any and every way possible. From buying custom built wagons, computers, TVs, video games, to the funding of the New Jersey’s first pediatric hematology/oncology young investigator program; every dollar donated is spent in the pursuit to make the lives of children with cancer better.
Hugs for Brady was created by Sherrie and Mike Wells, the parents of Brady Michael. Brady was diagnosed on October 12, 2009 with a very rare form of leukemia, non-differentiated Acute Leukemia. On July 30, 2010 Brady passed away. |

The Beez Foundation was created to raise money to support pediatric brain cancer research projects, related support activities for pediatric patients in cancer hospitals and education regarding the prevalence of pediatric brain cancer.
The Beez Foundation was organized to honor Jennifer Beisswanger (“bees-wang-er”), daughter of founders Susan and Joseph Giardina. After a lengthy battle to fight brain cancer, Jennifer died of complications from the disease. |

| Lena Matthews (c), President & CEO of Financial Resources Federal Credit Union and President of the Credit Union's Foundation, presents a check of $12,500 each to Susan Giardina (l) of The Beez Foundation and Sherrie Wells (r) of Hugs for Brady Foundation. An additional $1,650 was raised during the Foundation's annual charitable event held on Monday, May 6, 2013, which was split between the two beneficiary organizations for a total of $13,325 donated to each. |
