Eligibility: College students and recent high school graduates who are Financial Resources members are eligible to submit an entry for the Annual Scholarship Contest.

You must be a full-time college student under age 22.

Prizes: $2,000 First Prize, $1,000 Second Prize, and $500 Third Prize

Scholarship Rules:

1. Complete an essay (in Word for e-mail) on the topic above in 500 words or less.

2. Put your name, mailing address, email, phone number and member number on the cover sheet of your essay.

3. Attach a copy (or scanned version for e-mail) of your dated tuition bill from an accredited university, college or school showing registration for 12 credits or more.

4. Only one entry per student.

5. Entries must be postmarked or received by e-mail no later than August 13, 2010.

A panel of judges will determine the winners. Recipients will be notified by mail or email. Entries will be judged on creativity, grammar, spelling and content. Entry constitutes permission to use the winner’s name and/or likeness, and essay for publication, for promotional use without remuneration.The scholarship contest is not open to associates or directors of Financial Resources or their family members. All entrants must be Financial Resources members prior to time of application to qualify for the scholarship.
