Financial Resources FCU has begun #OperationWaterWall in order to complement the work of Operation Chillout, and their Vets Summer Fest yearly event. Every summer, Operation Chillout provides thousands of bottles of water to homeless veterans in need. Our mission will conclude on July 31st!

We have started off this mission by donating 10 cases of water to each branch, which lays a strong foundation for these walls. It is our request to our employees, members, and community, to aid us in this effort by donating cases of water to your local branch.

Objective to Donate

  1. Bring a case (or more!) to your local branch (No more than 24 bottles per case!!)
  2. Speak to a representative to add your case(s) to the wall
  3. That representative will take your picture next to the wall
  4. Post your photo to your social media accounts with #OperationWaterWall to show your support and help spread the word!

If you're unable to get water to your local branch, we have set up a Crowdrise campaign so you can donate! All proceeds will be going to purchasing water for this cause.

About Operation Chillout

Operation Chillout is an all-volunteer mobile outreach serving homeless veterans, men and women on mission since December 21, 2000, “no borders - no boundaries”. It started as a grassroots interfaith coalition to help a group of homeless Viet Nam veterans living rough in the open under a railroad trestle in northern NJ. Today we serve all of NJ, northeast Pennsylvania, and coastal Rhode Island. We believe in the inherent worth of every homeless man, woman and child and provide emergency supplies and survival gear to the most vulnerable members of our communities wherever we encounter them. We bring our care to all homeless people without regard to their religious affiliation, ethnic heritage or state of life.
